Analytics & Reporting

As an Ecommerce manager an important part of my role is reporting to senior management. Historically reporting to management was done by request. However, using Google Analytics I created dashboards for Horseland and Horse Shed Direct that went out to a mailing list daily. Including reports to the senior managers I have set up various dashboards in GA that report daily on sales and SEM keyword performance.

Omnivore is another great application that I have used to automate analytical reports. Along with the standard reporting I created dashboards to better understand the customer journey particularly leakage points (customer dropouts). Using this tool, in particular heat maps I was able to revamp existing pages and boost conversion.
